History HUMMER car

Very few types of cars can be easily recognized as the sport utility vehicle of its Hummer SUV. With a robust body and to health, the cars are manufactured to serve in the military and its design shows it.
Fact that the "stone giant" is no different from the vehicle to increase both in form and feature, but for fans of the Hummer driving, this would not be a problem. Coming to the Hummer dealer, all you see are SUVs. I do not have the Hummer vehicle produced, or at least not yet have.

History
Hummer brand can actually make us remember the other brand in the military, that is Jeep. Formed by Willys-Overland company in 1940, Jeep brand became popular that when Mr. Henry J. Kaiser bought Willys-Overland company in 1953, its name was changed to Kaiser-Jeep and the Jeep kept next to the word. In 1970, the U.S. automobile company bought Kaiser-Jeep and renamed it the Jeep Corporation. At that time, the Jeep was producing vehicles through two branches: One is the Commercial Products division in Toledo, Ohio, and the Government Products division in South Bend, Indiana.
A year later, the Government Products division became an independent company called AM General. In early 1980, this company, now owned by the LTV Corporation, designed a vehicle under contract with the U.S. Army. Called mobile multi-purpose vehicles (High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle - HMMWV, or Humvee, as it became known), it is designed to make the vehicles in military hostilities. AM General signed a production contract in 1983 (the first contract in a lot of contracts with the U.S. Army) with requests for 55.000 vehicles in five years time.

AM General's Humvees really stand out in the Gulf War in the early 90's. The use of discount car during the war has helped it become popular and not only limited within military circles. Finally, the AM General (now owned by the Renco Group) has decided for a Humvee vehicle population in 1992, was named Hummer. In 1999, General Motors bought the Hummer trademark and is responsible for the development, marketing and distribution of the Hummer SUV in the future.
Type the original Hummer, now called the H1, is the preferred and only a small number of vehicles produced per year. Uniqueness of this vehicle plays an important role in the creation of expensive SUV type vehicle, a vehicle's pretty typical. Led by GM, the brand has expanded to other vehicles and still owns the Hummer line Bravado but with better conditions of roads, this car could fit all the people in general.
